Angeline Cass led a pretty typical life. Her life revolved around her life at school, time spent with her adventure-seeking best friend and her boyfriend, and living at home with her mom. But after a bad math test score, an unexpected meeting with a boy way out of her social league, and the return of an old childhood friend, life actually starts getting interesting, until things take a turn and everything starts to go downhill for Angeline.
With the sudden turn of events, Angeline falls into the dark hole of depression and anxiety, and isn't sure if she can save herself from falling off the edge, but Jason, her assigned student tutor isn't turning out to be who Angeline thought he was, and he just might be able to help her fight her darkest parts and bring in some light.
