Welcome to Undiscovered Gems Competition (UGC)! I love to help writers get a second hand view of their work. I feel that there is so much published work on Wattpad that deserves to be acknowledged but people a) Don't have the time b) Don't read new books with low reads or c) Can't find them. I've read so many undiscovered books here and I usually comment on how to improve and what is done well. I know that new stories may not be continued or people may not have confidence in themselves and sometimes I feel my comments go unnoticed. Therefore, I would have made a competition where undiscovered writers get a chance to be acknowledged through 'The Undiscovered Gems Competition' and get some feedback that they, themselves, are looking for. I roll over onto my side and cover my head with a second pillow, trying to smother the images. I wipe my cheeks quickly with the back of my hand. I straighten up and take a deep breath before heading to the kitchen. As the water runs into my glass, I look out the window. The big tree in my backyard is bare now. It looks dead. The leaves are in very neat piles on the ground thanks to our gardener Mom hired over the summer. She still has him come every week even though the chilly air has decimated every living thing outside.
