Derek Shepherd has been head of neurosurgery at Seattle Grace for a year now but he's still the new lonely surgeon who is only there to work. Meredith Grey has spent her whole life at Seattle Grace and despite her life tragedies, she is now the head of general surgery and has two things going well in her life : work and friendship. Could they ever be anything more than cordial colleagues ?

Derek Is merediths worst nightmare in school. he makes her life hell.. meredith is a shy girl in her school. she basically has just 2 friends. izzie and cristina. and even they aren't too reliable. her life isn't the worst but definitely isn't the best.. but all of this will soon change when someone turns out to be not who she thought they were.
