Lucy, Juliet, and Gabe aren't your typical teens. They are the kids not allowed to attend the party the whole rest of the school was invited to. They are the ones in the back, keeping to themselves; if someone was to ask anyone about them, they probably wouldn't even know they existed in the first place. Either that, or they remember them as that guy everyone calls 'fag' in the hallway, and the two girls everyone suspects are lesbian lovers, one of them a goth and the other a punk who tried to kill herself earlier in the year. They don't have any friends, except for one another. A group of dysfunctional, emotionally unstable teens, surviving school, society, and their own minds... ...but they wouldn't have it any other way.

Bandit was always so inspired by her dad, Gerard. Ever since she was only just a baby, she looked up to him, and admired him. She aspired to be just like him. But then he died. He left her, to join the Black Parade. Depression and resentment set in, and her constantly touring mother Lyn-Z not being there for her didn't help matters. Her father once said "and though you're dead and gone, believe me, your memory will carry on."; she wondered if her memory would carry on.
