Dan is different. He's learned to accept that. Well, as best he can anyway, considering he's never really had much of a choice. It's been this way for as long as he can remember, the constant runaround process of trying to feel normal. His life is built around it, trying to trick both himself and everyone he interacts with into seeing him as your average person. The isolation as he desperately tries to keep others from finding out, the bitterness that wells up inside of him each and every time he's reminded that he'll never be like everyone else, the fear that nothing will ever change. He's fated to be this way forever; a misfit from society. Isolation can only go so far though, so when he's struggling to make ends meet and he's faced with the option of looking into a serious job or taking on a roommate, he opts for what seems like the easier option at the time. It doesn't seem so easy ten failed roommates into the process, or when he sits down at a table to meet with prospect number eleven and ends up with a coffee spilled all over his lap. Potential roommate number eleven, Phil, turns out to be an insufferable optimistic ball of sunshine that Dan wants nothing to do with. His options are running out though, as are the savings he's been using to pay his rent, so he finds himself begrudgingly agreeing to let the other man move in. Neither of them have any way of knowing just what they've gotten themselves into as they shake on the matter, but time will tell.

Dan is a dancer, but it's his best kept secret. Moving to a new college results in new friends, new hobbies and a new outlook in life; but what does it really mean to be human? A series of strange and seemingly unconnected events unfold that all seem to link back to Dan's mysterious new boyfriend. etcetc phan with kickthestickz This story carries some warnings, however they're p much all spoilers except non-graphic violence and injury on one occasion, and non-described minor character death. "You can run away with me, anytime you want." I want to get away. Away from the abuse at home, at school hell, but we're not friends. I could never be friends with Gerard Way. He's just some guy that fate seems to drive me towards. His brother may be even more of asshole than him, making my school life living hell and I guess things at home are not too great either. And despite how much of an asshole Gerard Way is, he's the only one that seems to make anything better.

Mr Iero is probably the worst and most inexperienced English teacher on the planet, probably even the worst teacher, or even just the worst human being, but this is probably the worst school on the planet, and everyone knows teaching is just about making sixteen year olds laugh in order to better your ego, or at least that's what Frank keeps telling himself. Mr Way is going to get the art department enough funding to have this trip to Paris, even if he dies accomplishing it; other items on his agenda include defending his position as dominant homosexual, and pretentious artist motherfucker, and the new 'amazing' Mr Iero in room sixty eight B has no hopes of stopping him there, even if he is as cute as everyone says, and even if he is totally all for helping Mr Way getting that trip to Paris.

** You would find her in a polaroid picture and she means everything to me. ** This is inspired by "She" by Dodie Clark, so the chapter titles are all Dodie's brilliant work. Yeah. Enjoy or whatever.

It all happend very fast. Fast and- sudden. He had always been a bit weird, but I didnt expect him to break this easily. Or suddenly. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough. I always thought there would be a process. Like a in the movies when the lead is hanging onto a rope ladder and you can see the fibres break and the rope gets thinner and tension rises until the sting inevitably breaks. There was no tension building when his string broke. It was more like a cut. The last drop that broke the dike. Suddenly water was everywhere and in this mess we had no other option than to go to Atlantis.

Pete adores Mikey. He's beautiful in a ratty old Anthrax tee and frayed jeans. She's beautiful in strawberry lipstick and a tight black skirt. They're beautiful in that soft blue jumper as Pete's perfect agender angel. But Mikey's dad doesn't seem to agree.

Gerard was late, and it was fucking raining. He'd missed the bus and it was fucking raining, and he was totally going to get dropped from the play if he was late again and he was so fucking screwed, but honestly Gerard wasn't all that keen on it when he'd heard the only main part he'd managed to get in this damn theatre group was of a fucking crossdresser. For someone who was supposed to be in the closet, he was doing an awfully bad job of it. Frank Iero was Gerard's favourite punk ass skater dickhead, that he was currently working on eternally denying to himself the crush he had on Frank, which totally didn't exist of course, but Frank was really cute, and Gerard was really stupid; stupid enough to think that he could totally pull off pretending to be a girl in order for heterosexual Frank Iero to fall for him. Surely, this was truly the worst idea Gerard Way has ever had.

I'm Mikey Way, the grand twenty year old virgin and general klutz when it came to anything vaguely romantic, with a twenty five year old hermit of a brother who only leaves the basement to visit his not quite boyfriend, Frank. I'm also an anti-social mess who's most definitely going to get kicked out of his English course at college by the professor who's more than a little convinced I'm a pyromaniac, unless by some miracle the guy I met at the comic store who wants to suck me off is actually a reincarnation of William Wordsworth. I think Pete may be one of the weirdest people I've ever met, I mean, there are not many people who find amusement in so casually involving blowjobs in their first conversation with you. Pete was a man whore, I thought man whore was a pretty weird term, but I guess Pete was a pretty weird person, so it just sort of fit, like pieces in a puzzle, or a dick in his mouth, apparently. Maybe things would end up with Pete being my friend, or maybe even something more than that, wouldn't that just be... odd? Puzzle pieces, huh? But things are never quite that straight forward, things just love to stray just off the key of reason.
