After her mother passed away, Lawliet became Kaori's pillar of strength. However, her remarkable talent as a hacker doesn't go unnoticed by the renowned 'L.' Almost as soon as Kaori graduates, L tries to use her skills in the troublesome Kira Case. But she has no choice -- she must assist the Kira Case, or L would send her to jail.
