According to Wikipedia, "Forced perspective is a technique which employs optical illusion to make an object appear farther away, closer, larger or smaller than it actually is." While I have no way to present optical illusion or warp visual perception with words, I can change the ideas of reality, describe them, paint them, empathize with them, share them, and so much more. My words can give a shot of reality through my lens to share with you. I hope you can find a picture you like. Maybe put it on your refrigerator? In all reality, I do hope you enjoy this second book of poems. Thanks for reading!

Excerpt: "I am everything: The autumn winds easing the leaves away from their branches, A baby's smile at daddy's funny face, The tears that seep into the soil at a funeral, A heavy snowfall on Christmas Eve. I am a hug: Offered only during times of sadness, Never given often enough. I am a mirror: Reflecting the moods of those in my surroundings Or the inanimate objects that remain once all have gone home. I am a microphone: Echoing the opinions of those around me, Telling the truths of all, but only being accepted by one. I am a shell: Full of the many memories of yesterday, Unable to grasp anything today. I am a skeleton: Stripped away of any feeling, After everyone has taken a piece. I am nothing: Not a firefighter, Thanked for saving the family pet. Not a lover, Dearly missed by her significant other. Not a role model, Written about for a second grader's project. Not a person at all; I am a simple cadaver, sliced up for answers to all of life's questions." ********************************************** An original poetry collection from the last decade of my life.

We're rarely aware, or at least fully aware, of our subconscious mental activity. But subconscious thought does affect our feelings and behavior, and it's often revealed in dreams, artistic expression, and slips of the tongue. The subconscious mind can be a hiding place for anxiety, a source of creativity, and often the reason behind our own mysterious behavior. MERRIAM-WEBSTER you never know what it is you fail to recognize 'till your pen dances to your subconscious. let them be the life of the ball, let your page be their dancefloor, let your voice be the sound, let them write this secret down.

Nighttime reminds us of.... the voices in our head when they get loud, the sadness in our hearts when no one listens, the peace we find only to crumble, the people we know, only that they never want us to achieve, the emptiness of our souls that darken our eyes

"Promise me you won't leave me alone." The humans hate her for her imperfections. Lost in a world too busy to notice an insignificant person like her. Lost and alone, the world pushed her into oblivion. But maybe she is not really alone. At midnights they accompany her with her tears, crumbled paper and scribbled words. They will never leave her like humans do. They never break promises like humans do. They never know how to stab a person unlike the savage humans. She created a world of ink. A world ready to accept her imperfections. She is ready to enter the new world with her dear poems. For she knows her best friends will never leave. 🌷Collection of short poems🌷 ▪2nd prize in the Summer Awards 2019 ▪Winner of Ocean Blue Awards 2019 ▪ 2nd prize in Creativity Awards 2019, poetry. ~~~~~~~~~ Please don't steal or claim the poems to be yours, respect one's creations.
