[Playing - You're Still The One by Shania Twain]
DJ Chan: Fits perfectly, doesn't it?
A song about still choosing the same person after everything.
After the wrong turns.
After the silence.
After the what ifs.
This Saturday at 11 PM, let Soundtrack of What Ifs be your midnight playlist for the soul.
And for our first story-
The story of Namtan and Film.
After falling in love at first sight-
Namtan: Objection. False information already.
Film: Phi, please don't start.
Namtan: I did not fall in love at first sight.
DJ Chan: I'm promoting your story.
Namtan: Then promote it accurately.
Film: There's literally a photo of you staring at me.
Namtan: I was looking at the crowd.
Film: The crowd was behind you.
Namtan: Peripheral vision.
(faint voice from the control room)
Producer: Can we mute them?
Sound Engineer: Which one?
Producer: Both.
(brief static)
DJ Chan: ...We're experiencing a minor technical-
Namtan: Did they cut my mic?
Film: Phi, they cut both our mics.
Namtan: Good. Then no one can hear you lying.
Film: I'm not lying!
(static clears)
DJ Chan: ...And we're back.
After meeting one night, Namtan and Film learned something about love.
One tried to deny the melody.
The other kept turning the volume up.
Thinking love alone could carry the song, they rushed the tempo, skipped the pauses, and left cracks in the music they were building together.
A story about first love, forbidden love, and the song that almost ended before the final verse.
Fourteen years later, they're finally listening to the recording of their past.
So mark your calendars, listeners.
Because apparently, telling their love story is going to be... complicated.
