What happens when the Greek god of dreams grows tired of his job? Easy. He trains his replacement so he can finally quit. But on a routine dream inspection, Morpheus runs into Gwen-Stacey Reynolds, a regular mortal whose dreams are anything but, and like her dreams, Gwen-Stacey is funny, outrageous, and has the uncanny ability to see right through him. Morpheus will spend his final days with Gwen-Stacey and in her dreams, he'll discover what he's been missing all this time. Dreams may not be reality, but this jaded dream god is about to find out that true love can find you anywhere...even in your dreams. **Copyrighted Material: God of My Dreams (Formerly titled: I Only Date Superheroes) Copyright © Wendy Nelson 2012 All Rights Reserved. [Cover made by @indignant] SNEAKPEEK: "How the hell did you manage to knock-up someone?! You could've pick someone else to get pregnant," My mother scolded me, but I wasn't paying attention. I was thinking about the little babies that are in Rosie's stomach. ".....a hybrid." "Are we done now? I want to go see Rosie." I stood up from the dirty couch -with many mysterious stains- that we've had since I was four. "No. I forbid you from ever seeing it." She sneered, picking at her fake finger nails that were longer than my hands. I looked at her shocked. "You cannot forbid me from seeing the woman that is bearing my children! And she is not an it!" I look at her with a crazy look in my eye. Now, it is her turn to be shocked. "Children?! I thought it was only one!" She stood up. "Well, Rosie is part cat! So, she is more likely to have more than one child." My geekiness showing up at the wrong time. "Go to your room!" .............................................................. ©, suppahgurl, 2013

"Sometimes happiness feels like a chore." A short story chronicling the relationships (and lack thereof) of Drew; in which nights and days are spent curled up in the tear-and-food-stained sheets, with and without the warmth of another living soul, because he has lived like this and he'll probably die like this -- whether he likes it or not. (As if life ever bothered to ask). Otherwise known as: Sleep is for the weak, and love is for those asleep. So Andrew shouldn't wonder why he's virtually a self-induced insomniac who might just very well die of loneliness one day.
