#1 in New guy Audrey has finally made it through her first semester at Lachlan University. Now it's Christmas break, and while other students are heading back to the States to be with their families, Audrey is forced to stay behind with the vampires of Lachlan Island. Not that she had a family to go back to on the mainland. No, the vampires were her family now, the family she always wanted. Until a blast from the past comes to reopen old wounds. Now she's questioning everything: the vampires' true intentions, her mother's shady past, her feelings for Gabriel and the other guys. And then there's the Army of the Damned. They're supposed to be the bad guys, the bogeyman--and most among their ranks certainly live up to that reputation. But there's one with a heart too big to hide, no matter how tough he acts...one who begins asking questions of his own when he sets eyes on Audrey again. Can they save each other from the AOD's painful grasp? Or do the organization's blood ties run too deep to escape? COVER DESIGN by: @laylagriffin_

I'm your typical twenty-two year old girl. I work your typical job, making a killing off of literally killing people. I live the average life, my PTSD and mild OCD completely controlling me. I grew up with a loving family, my father running a black market child ring and my mother six feet underground. And I have a great support system, living alone and the only person I talk to being a ghost. So yeah. Nothing weird here. Completely Normal. And then some random guys come in and completely mess up my normal life. How rude of them? Good thing they're all hot. ~~~~~~ Warning: This story contains descriptions of violence, trauma and abuse. May be triggering to some. There's also lots of cursing and dark humor. Oh and maybe a few steamy scenes. Read at your own risk. This is a reverse harem romance.

"Did she mean a lot to you, Eero? Did the visha toxin running through her veins make your blood boil just like hers?" He snarled at Eero. Eero remained silent, walking slowly closer to her killer. Silas laughed, "She called your name, begging for you to save her. Where were you?" Eero clenched his fists, he could feel the anger wanting to take over. His feral side rising to the surface. It knew just as he did that Silas would see his end right here. Right now. "What was her name, again? Parton? Penelope?" The golden eyes sparkled sinisterly. He lazily reached for his sword, a smirk playing on his lips. Eero stopped just out of arms length from Silas. His blue eyes flashed as another fiery boulder was launched. Runes started to form on his skin, stark against the pale of his flesh. His fingers elongated into claws and his build grew in height. Inky blackness started to flow from his form in deadly tendrils. Silas sat in quiet shock at the creature before him. He had heard the rumors of Eero's true form, and knew it was horrific enough to make Eero fall the first time around considering he was the one to send the witch to cast her curse. But he hadn't realized just how terrifying Eero's beastly side was. Another catapult sent a fiery boulder, casting light into the darkening throne room. The light revealed the pointy teeth sitting in Eero's snarling mouth. Silas swallowed the lump in his throat. He should have known. He should have known that this creature, the creation of his own actions, would come back for him. "Her name," the words came out like gravel from the looming beast, causing a shiver to run along Silas' spine, "was Payton."

A beat of a second passed before he slowly pulled away from me, the suffocating heat withdrawing with him as he straightened up. My eyes lifted to meet his as he released his hold on my knife, and I flicked my wrist, flipping it with ease so my hands closed around its smooth, still-warm handle. The room was silent. The ten other men seated on the couch didn't bother trying to hide the shock on their faces that a hunter had just agreed to a deal with their Alpha. I totally felt the same way, even if I was that dumb motherfucker. They seemed to be imagining what horrible, unthinkable threats he could have whispered into my ear to make me cave, but to think my resolve had dissolved with just four unexpected words from his mouth. Sometimes, I wondered if I even had a brain. "So," I said now, holding back a sigh as I looked up into those steely, unreadable eyes, "If I'm going to work with you, I'll need a name to call you by. Unless you prefer to be referred to as moody dick?" Silence followed my words. "What, don't you guys know Moby Dick?" I asked no one in particular, and ten pairs of eyes exchanged glances that further questioned my sanity. The last pair of eyes held mine steady. The ring of gold in them seemed to burn like a flickering candlelight against the night of the sea. "Heath," he said, and I could finally place his accent as the name curled and settled in my ears like a cat by the fireplace. I smiled. "Well, cool." I put my hand out between us, the one holding the knife, the silver-pointed tip facing him as I offered him a handshake. "Nice to meet you moody dick, I'm Alessandra."

Sweater wearing, art loving Indigo has a problem. A totally called for problem that's as cliche as it gets, but a problem nonetheless. Indigo's the new girl of Everly Academy, school for the rich and privileged. Where newcomers are as rare as it gets. Intrigued by her sudden appearance, the notorious bad boys of Everly, the Fallen Angels, take an interest in Indigo. (You know they're bad when they have an actual name for the group other than "Those hot bad boys.") Sadly, the Angels are the schools bad boys for a reason. Their possible gang affiliations leave students and possible friends cowering in fear, no one daring to draw too close. The boys were fine with this, they don't want anybody getting hurt no matter how cold and cruel they seemed. The only exception to this appears to be sweet Indigo, who decides to befriend the Fallen Angels. The criminals the Angels routinely deal with in their dangerous after school activities are restless, wanting, no, needing another slice of the power pie. They are willing to do anything to get it, even if that means endangering an innocent girl, such as Indigo. But, Indigo has secrets of her own, secrets that may make her less innocent than others are lead to believe. Will they clash with the powers that want her dead? Who knows. Indigo sure doesn't. ___________________________________________ "WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP CALLING ME NEW GIRL?" Luca peered at me quizzically, his forest eyes filling with confusion. "Umm, maybe because you never told us your name?" "Ah, yes. That would do it." I nodded, like I didn't just embarrass myself in front of the hottest guy I've ever seen. Again. Whoops. -------------------------- I should probably warn you like a nice person and say that this story contains bad language and all that jazz. I promise it's not as cliche as it seems;)*****
