Amari Jenkins is deaf, but that doesn't stop her from living her life and doing things normal "able-bodied" people do. Sometimes she even enjoyes going to concerts and parties, because even though she can't hear the music, she can still feel the beat and she enjoys to dance to it. One day she attends the legendary Tim Westwood's party with her friends where she meets the controversial rapper Marshall Mathers aka Eminem with whom she ends-up having a one night stand with. And that's where their story is supposed to end, only it doesn't because Marshall becomes strangely fascinated with her... Jordyn and Marshall first meet on one of those days Marshall is desperately trying to sell copies of his debut album Infinite, vending on the streets of Detroit, standing right next to his beat down hand-me-down Honda his mom had passed on to him. Jordyn is trying to make it in the music industry as well. She wants to make it as a singer. So, the two of them meet, eventually realize that they have a whole lot in common, and are both there for each other along their journeys to make it big, as well as everything else on between, eventually becoming best friends, then going from friends to lovers, but so many things get in their way right from the get go. Like Jordyn's trust issues with men, Marshall's extremely complicated relationship with his baby's mother, Kim, the fame that one of them acquires way quicker than the other, as well as even more stuff that follows along down the line. Drug addiction, fame, groupies, love, hate... Will all those things eventually tear them apart, or bring them even closer together?! Who the hell knows... Lenika Shakur is a protégé of Dr. Dre as well as a younger half sister to the legendary late rapper Tupac Shakur. Ever since Pac's untimely death, Dre has taken her under his wing and looked after her. Lenika also has a dream of making it as a rapper one day as well, all to honor her late brother and make him proud. And Dre, he has no problem with that, he is all for it and supports her decision 100 percent. The only problem is that Dr Dre has another protégé now also. And his name is Marshall Mathers. An up-and-coming white rapper from Detroit Michigan with a troubled past whose skills are undeniable and unmatchable by anybody else in the rap game, so Dre takes Marshall under his wing as well. Which is exactly how Marshall and Lenika meet. By an unexpected encounter in one of the rooms at the Interscope building that changes it all for the both of them because they instantly fall in love. The problem is that their mutual mentor, Dr Dre, doesn't want that. For either of them, especially Lenika. He's got a whole lot of respect for Marshall. When it comes to being a hard working man in the rap game that is. Dre truly loves the kid, Marshall is like his little brother or something. But he also loves Lenika too. And knowing all of the personal issues that Marshall comes with, Dre wants him nowhere near Lenika romantically. Simply because he doesn't want Marshall to ruin her character. Ruin her as a person. Being that Lenika is innocent, and Marshall is totally corrupted. Do you think that would stop either Marshall or Lenika from being attracted to each other though?? It's 2009. Marshall Mathers has just put out "Relapse" after a big break in his career. His manager, Paul Rosenberg, thinks that it would be a nice promotion for Marshall to have a series of articles written about his everyday life. For that Paul reaches out to a new but popular musical magazine in Detroit. By good fortune, the main character of our story, Ella, works as a journalist in that magazine. Ella is chosen to be the one who'll write the articles and spend the whole month following Eminem's life. The only thing is that from the first day the things between Ella and Marshall doesn't go really well. But perhaps, something may change? P.S.
