Toni geht während einer Kreuzfahrt über Bord des Schiffes und erwacht, an der Seite von Killian, dem gut aussehenden Kronprinzen, in Atlantis. Da die Atlanter ihr Geheimnis wahren wollen, wird Toni vor die Entscheidung gestellt: Den Prinzen heiraten und so zur Atlanterin werden oder sterben. Killian ist von diesem Arrangement jedoch genauso wenig begeistert, wie Toni. Er ist es nicht gewohnt, dass eine Frau ihm widerspricht, denn Atlantis lebt noch im tiefsten Mittelalter und Frauen haben hier nichts zu sagen. Und als ob das allein nicht schon schwer genug wäre, muss sie auch noch um die ganze Welt reisen um vier Artefakte zu bergen, die Atlantis und die anderen Unterwasserstädte vor der völligen Zerstörung retten können. Aber die Reise ist gefährlich, denn es gibt nicht nur die Atlanter, die unter Wasser leben und Atlantis ist darauf angewiesen, dass Toni und Killian sich zusammen raufen.
