Juliet was supposed to keep things simple: ghostwrite a few speeches, avoid political landmines, and definitely not get involved with anyone.
Easy, right?
Wrong.
Now she's stuck juggling a fake relationship, a father who is a politician, an overachieving ex-something, suspiciously hot dinners with Very Important People, and a boss who's supposed to be untouchable- but somehow keeps showing up in Juliet's thoughts (and maybe her dreams).
There are awkward silences, too much wine, way too many secrets, and a surprising amount of shaving. In a world where everyone's pretending to be someone they're not, Juliet is just trying to remember who she actually is- and figure out if falling for someone powerful is a bad idea or the worst one.
One thing's for sure: this wasn't in the job description.
