Louis moves into a flat while he’s at university, his next-door neighbour, Harry, who he’s never seen is rather loud at night. Louis confronts him about said noise and the two start to chat through the rather thin wall between their bedrooms. Will they ever meet, and if they do… what could ensue for the both of them?

Louis Tomlinson is a nobody at school. He's known as the 'nerd' and not many kids want to be around him. He hasn't had many friends, let alone someone to talk to, other than his family and one cousin Liam Payne who helps him through the tough times. But can a jock like Harry Styles change that? Or will someone get in the way?

Harry Styles was depressed. No one would bother to mess with him, they were all too afraid. He was really tough, I guess you can say he was a "bad boy". He hated his life and he hated school. He had one friend and his name was Zayn. Harry hated everyone else because they were always so happy, and had no idea what he was going through. Especially Louis Tomlinson. Louis was the most popular kid in school, the class clown. Harry despised him. But what happens when one day they had to team up for a science project worth 60% of their grade? Will they get along in order to finish the project? Or will Harry refuse to work with the guy who makes his life miserable.

When Louis Tomlinson hops on a train to London, he has no idea what awaits him. He risks the uncertainty for his dream job at a radio station. But then he finds out that he's going to have to work together with Harry Styles, who's obnoxious and whom he can't even begin to understand. He has to admit though, that Harry is very pleasing to the eye, but he can't seem to get over the fact that Harry spilled coffee all over him the first time they met and barely even apologised. They take their love-hate relationship into the studios, but what happens when they realise they don't quite hate each other as much as they thought?

Harry doesn't have an inkling of where he fits in, in life. He's in high school, works part time at his mom's bakery, and slouches around at home with his best friend, Niall. He's scared to take risks, always playing it safe. Parties aren't really his niche and he would rather study. Only thing he knows is that he likes to make people happy. You could say he was popular, but he wasn't exactly dealing with the in-crowd. On a fateful day, an extroverted Louis comes strolling into the bakery, catching Harry's interest.
