Coming home, she realizes everyone has forgotten about her. Her mother and step-father replaced her completely with her little sister, Bella. So, since she was replaced, she becomes angry and decides to get her family's attention. After getting into too much trouble with her mother, her mother sends her to Forks to live with her father. Her father believes she's a problem child and scolds her for everything possible. So, after a few fights between her and her father, she decides to go live with a family she had been close to for most of her life. Billy Black was like her second father. He cared for her when nobody else did and he treated her like his own child. When she was deployed, he was the only "father" to keep in-touch with her.
