A group consisting of Thomas, Skylar, Newt, Frypan, Brenda, and Jorge head to the Last City in hopes of rescuing Minho from WCKD. Skylar is constantly haunted by her past and doesn't know if she should tell anyone about her struggles. With the help of an unexpected ally, the group formulates a plan to get Minho back. Without the two even realizing, Newt and Skylar grow closer through each other's own struggles. Newt fears what might become of him, but Skylar might be just the person he needs to survive. [COMPLETED] Minho promised himself he'd never fall for her. Yet, here he was, tripping over his own feet. The keeper of the runners had always liked Y/N. She was a medjack, and the best one at that. It seemed that just about everyday, he was in for a visit due to small accidents in the maze. But, as time progresses, and with Thomas' arrival, things begin to change around the Glade. With Ben's death, no one is eager to get out into the maze aside from Thomas. Though, through a little convincing, Alby manages to persuade the Glades only girl to step foot in the maze despite Minho's protest. All characters, world/setting and other parts of story related to The Maze Runner belong to James Dashner.

Zoe and the rest of the gladers have just finished the Scorch Trials and now they are faced with a new challenge. A challenge that they have been fighting all along. WICKED. Not just them but also the brain rotting disease also known as the Flare. They have to fight to escape. Will they make it out? Or will they turn into nose-taking Cranks?
