His town is still filled with the homophobic, racist people he's always been surrounded by, and not to mention his abusive father. Alexander Hamilton, a selective mute, has finally had enough. He leaves the Caribbean and moves in with his cousin Usnavi. So, little did John know, what's been the same for years was about to get flipped upside down, just because of one day and one silent boy.

He assumes that this boy is just like him, just an ordinary college student with an ordinary life. When John discovers that his online friend is the famous writer Alexander Hamilton, he is starstruck. He is amazed that someone as brilliant as Alexander would want to be friends with him. But when John's feelings for Alexander begin to go beyond friendship, things take a turn for the worst. John can't love Alex, can he? Because Alex is too good for him, isn't he?

John made a mistake. He lost his virginity at fourteen and ended up getting the woman pregnant. She died and he kept the child, with the consequence of being cut out of his family. Now he's seventeen with a two year old daughter, working two jobs and attending high school. Even with these stresses, he still kept time to spend with his daughter. He didn't hide the fact he had a child. She was his pride and joy and loved her unconditionally. Alexander was basically the star of the school. Everyone looked at him like a God. He was the star of the lacrosse team, top of his class, and hot. He did get some hate, as he was an put bisexual, but it never seemed to get to him. He was perfect.

Theyre known for mass murder...only because they turned themself in. Why? no one knows. No one has stayed in the job long enough to find out why and how. They all quit out of fear. But after working with him, something sparks between him and John. Is it just a random feeling? or are they...in love? Read this to find out! After life threw Alexander around for years, things finally started settling down. He had a loving family, an education, and caring friends. A home. But of course, the world isn't quite done with him just yet. When he starts talking to John Laurens, supposedly bratty, snobbish, rich John Laurens, and finds out that what people say about him are nothing but myths he finds himself tangled on a secret friendship which eventually morphs, quite accidentally, into something more with the South Carolinian. He can't let people know about them, especially not his lovable but oh so overbearing brother Lafayette. It gets even worse when feelings are thrown into the picture. But whatever, what Lafayette doesn't know won't hurt him, right?

John Laurens was known in college for one thing and one thing only: He was the biggest fuck boy ever. Which was perhaps a hyperbole, but the title still stood. What most people didn't know is that behind the charming smiles and weekly hookups, John Laurens was just a desperate gay guy in search for a cute that didn't sleep. He convinced himself that if he slept with enough girls, he would start liking them eventually, but it doesn't work that way.
