A stalker by the name of Skif travels to the Zone to find the mythical "Wish Granter" that has been rumored to be within the the CNPP. The Zone. Such a hostile environment. Radiation, dangerous mutants, mysterious anomalies and artifacts that dare defy the most basic laws of physics and logic. Numerous stories about an entity deep within the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, whom will grant any wish you request. It may sound crazy that people live in an environment like this, yet they do. Numerous factions reside in this post-apocaliptic wasteland, all with different purposes and points of view. Some wish to simply destroy it, while others want to embrace it. Some want to foolishly control it, others just want to study it. Then there's the ones who attempt to make profit from it, which are the majority of residents in The Zone, which are known as "Stalkers." And this is the story of two Stalkers. An Ecologist by the name of Yuri "Oddball", former member of the Duty faction, tired of their concept of destroying The Zone, now wishing to study it... And to kill mutants under the name of science. And a Loner by the name of Gabriel "Stabber", a former soldier, tired of the constant corruption of the military, decided to desert and join the Free Stalkers. Due to him being part of the military, he will have to earn some trust among his new faction... Not alone, obviusly. Between 2012 and 2021, the number of stalkers declined. Those either died or fled the Zone. Their number kept decreasing - no one new came. Until now...

Like so many others, a man is drawn to the infamous Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Armed with a Makarov, he finds himself in Rookie Village as one of the many new stalkers oblivious to the truth of the horrors the Zone has to offer. March, 2011: The zone has been the site of over 300 illegal residents. These so called "stalkers" have abandoned the outside world for a variety of the same reasons: Some wanted to escape their past, and some wanted an easy way to make money, in order to support their families, or fuel their own greed. Whatever the reason, these stalkers abandon their past and future, putting their lives on the line, and almost certainly dooming them to a painful death at the hands of radiation, anomalies, the numerous mutants, or by their closest friends. When a person enters the zone, they lose all traces of their actions. A dead stalker leaves no legacy in the outside world, and if a stalker was to leave, they would certainly learn to readjust. Unfortunately for former stalker Dmitri Morozov, he had been a part of the zone his entire life, and his history will never be forgotten, so long as the zone exists.

The year is 2019 years have passed since the chernobyl disaster. Since then mutants now roam this earth and will destroy the earth and its humans now called stalkers.
