Falling into the Heated Rivalry rabbit hole was absolutely not on my 2025 bingo card-but a few Tarlos pages I follow on IG kept posting about Shane and Ilya, and well... here we are. I read Heated Rivalry and The Long Game in three days, loved them to pieces, and couldn't believe how similar the series feels to the actual content and emotional beats of the books. Please enjoy this collection of Hollanov one-shots-and if you have prompt requests, feel free to send them my way!

"You signed with the LA Kings?" she demanded. "What were you thinking? You know the plan. We'd go to the draft, get first pick, and go to Montreal." "What are you even talking about?" Shane shot back. "If I got first pick, I'd go to Boston, not Montreal. And I don't even want to go to Montreal." "Why?" Mom asked immediately. "They're one of the best teams in the league. One of the Original Six." Something inside him snapped, and before he even realized it, he switched to Japanese. "I don't know," he said, his voice tight. "Maybe because they're full of racists and homophobes. Do you even understand what I'm saying? Or have you become so white you forgot your own language?"

In the wake of fire and chaos, Buck and Eddie find something neither of them expected-each other. From long shifts at Station 118 to quiet breakfasts with Christopher, their bond deepens in the in-between moments. But love isn't always simple, especially when it's built in the ashes of trauma, loss, and second chances. This slow-burn romance traces the journey of two best friends navigating fatherhood, fire calls, and the blurred lines between brotherhood and something more. As they finally admit the truth buried under years of loyalty and longing, they begin to build a life filled with healing, laughter, and love-brick by brick, kiss by kiss. From shared glances at the firehouse to heartfelt vows under a canopy of wildflowers, this is a story of choosing love every single day-through fear, through fire, and forever.

They've always been close, too close. Between fires, sleepless nights, and quiet glances across crowded rooms, Buck and Eddie have built something unspoken. Something steady. Something they both pretend not to feel. But silence can only hold so much. And sometimes, the words we never say start to weigh more than the ones we do. What We Don't Say is a slow-burn emotional journey through fear, friendship, heartbreak, and the moments that change everything, quietly, completely, and forever. Because some love stories aren't loud. They're the ones that linger in what we don't say... Until we finally do. 🎭 Drama 😨 Angst ❤️‍🔥 Slow Burn ❤️ Buddie

9-1-1 fanfiction. Pairing: Buck/Eddie. A visit to his parents' house fully reawakens the demons that Buck had barely begun to put to bed. When all of Eddie's attempts to comfort him with words fail, Bobby helps him realize it's time for action. Specifically, a particularly hot night where Eddie is going to drive Buck wild and make him realize exactly what he means to Eddie. This is canon-compliant all the way through 4x14, with the premise that Buck & Eddie became a couple a little after that (and are out to the firefam). Strong m/m sexual content in Chapter 2, so don't read if that's not your thing. DISCLAIMER: I don't own 9-1-1 or anything related to it, I don't make any money from this, you know the drill. Please don't sue me.
