Same old story. Hiccup runs away from berk after he is chosen to kill the Monsterous Nightmare. In the coming years he learns how to; hunt, fight, walk stealthily, speak dragonease, and train dragons. After 5 years full of gummy smiles, defeated enemy's, wild dragons and hatred ( and a bit of regret ) towards berk and his inhabitants, the teens and Gobbers go on a trip to find new dragons for the kill arena. As you probably expected, they find Hiccup, Toothless, and all the dragons he and his scaly friend met, healed, and befriended over the years. What is going to happen when they see them? ( you probably know or do not know what is going to happen. But still, I will try and surprise you )

What if Hiccup had never shown Berk the truth about dragons? What if he was chased off instead of leaving on his own? Can he survive in the wild with Toothless? Or will he go wild himself?

An Au of my other Fanfic Dragon Heir. It happened one night during a Dragon Raid. A dragon with scales as dark as the night finds a young human hatchling being bullied by his fellow villagers. The dragon takes the child from the village and decides to raise him as his own. Toothless is older than Hiccup in this fanfic, Hiccup is around 8 years old to start. Toothless does have a female night fury named Raven as a mate.

Hiccup and Toothless left Berk thinking no one cared. Being the neglected child of Berk (despite his family, and being the heir to the village), Hiccup decided he'd had enough. He took Toothless and his most treasured belongings and high-tailed it out of there. When he runs into his long-lost mother, life looks up for Hiccup. He's found a place where he belongs. Meanwhile, on Berk, the village assumed Hiccup was dead by a Night Fury's doing and left it at that. Astrid and her friends, however, didn't think such. It's been days after the battle of the Red Death. Days since Dragons and Viking united and days since, the young boy, Hiccup was gravely injured defeating the Red Death. He's recovering well. During the Berk coming of age entrance test (long name I know) five young Vikings face the outdoors alone for a year. Astrid, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut. They expect a boring year filled with fights, little food, and dragon attacks. But don't expect a mysterious dragon rider with a connection to Berk. I own none of the pictures I use unless mentioned. I think only two of them are mine.

After getting the honour of killing a Nightmare, Hiccup leaves Berk with Toothless. It seems like he can't find peace as three years later the Hooligans find and capture him. Going back to Berk seems like a bad idea at the time, but Hiccup has to push aside all selfish reasons and help Berk.
