Love never came easily for Nathan Reed. Growing up, when his friends would get girlfriends, he would always be the single one. He would be the one third wheeling at the eighth grade dance, homecoming, prom, and any other event involving his friends. Whether it was going to the mall with his friend and his friend's girlfriend, or going to the movies, he was single. He was always single. At age twenty three in his junior year of college, he's accepted his fate of being single forever. He stopped having crushes four years ago when she asked him for his best friends phone number. He has never even hugged a girl he likes, and he counts kissing Amanda Baldwin in the second grade as his first kiss. That is until Odeletta Guillotin walks into his French class for the first time, three days after the class already started, late, in a black leather jacket and combat boots. When the teacher talks in French after she's settled in her seat, saying something that nobody understands, Odeletta responds in fluent French. Nathan is promptly intrigued by her. She doesn't even notice him, and he finds himself noticing everything she does, from the way she grips her pen to the way she furrows her eyebrows when she's concentrating. He finds himself wanting to talk to her, but after years and years of rejection, he can't do it. When he finally gets up the nerve to talk to her, he finds there is a lot more to the mysterious French girl than meets the eye. DO NOT COPY THIS STORY, I WORKED HARD ON THIS STORY WITH IDEAS I CREATED FROM MY OWN IMAGINATION IF YOU WANT TO BE A WRITER, WRITE FROM YOUR HEAD, NOT FROM MINE This is the first book of four. Summer Jones doesn't have a perfect life - a crazy half family, dropping grades and absolutely no idea on what she's doing in life. This tomboy has no care in the world about anything except her sleep, food and loved ones. In that order (or not). But someone's about to crash that scale of preference and make her mind even crazier. Caleb Anderson seemed to have a perfect life. He had the looks, the crazy psycho girls running behind him and amazing soccer skills. What more could he need, right? Wrong. All he needed was a wild Summer Jones to spice his life up and all she needed was an arrogant Caleb Anderson to show her how to live fully in life. Would these two completely independent people, go past their hatred for each other and depend on that one chance brought to them? *** "I just got started. Wait and watch how I ruin your entire existence." He narrows his eyes at me, challenging me to come at him. "Are you sure you didn't just walk into the wall when you were young? You seem to have had your head hit pretty bad considering the consequential brain cells loss." I say while crossing my arms over my chest to get my point across. "Take care of those heavy words, blondie. You might just have to pay for them." That seemed to anger him so I smirked even more, despite him calling me blondie. Trust me, I've got that a lot. "It's okay, I anyways don't deal with cheap stuff like you." I throw him the most sarcastic smile I could ever muster. Told you it's a love-hate relationship. A humorous non-cliché story with absolute madness, relatable characters, lots of laughter and lots of conflicting emotions from Summer and Caleb. Warning: contains some abusive content. Written by a 16-year-old who has no idea on how to write all this. Promise it gets better after a few chapters :) *** Ranked #1 in badboy on 13/11/2019 #1 in summer #7 in #teenfiction #2 in #hateatfirstsight #1 in Caleb

"Go away, I know your only around to try and embarrass me." I mumbled to the three guys I'd met a few days ago. I then turned to the four girls who I had also met the other day. I sighed, knowing why they were hanging out with me. "Don't ask me for their numbers, just grow up and ask them yourselves." I snapped out loud a bit harshly, but I didn't care. They all looked at me with confused faces and then started laughing. "You think we're here for your brothers?" one of the girls asked and I just nodded. "Wouldn't surprise me." I rolled my eyes and started to walk out of the library... my only safe place in this hell hole. "Wait Violet..." Their shouts became distant as I walked into the crowded block. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ Violet Owens, sister of the 8 "greek gods" of the school. She gets bullied but she fights back. "Never call a girl a bitch," I glared into his eyes as he opened them, piercing into me, the bright blue drink I had just poured over him still dripping from his dark hair. "Or she just might act like one." I gave him one last sarcastic smile before pushing by him and walking away, practically strutting. Well, this year will be fun... • • • • Crystal Summers; a self-proclaimed expert in all things sarcastic and the human embodiment of destructive decisions. As we stood outside in the cold, my mind wandered to freshman year, when I promised to help Andy with something and he said that he would hug me, but it would be awkward. I don't think that he wanted me to hear that, but I did and I have thought about it ever since. It had been two years since then, and what I did next I have no clue how I had the guts to do. Hey um Andy," I said hesitantly,"Can I uh.. Hug you?" Ya," he said in a soft tone that I had never heard him use before. Before I knew it, I had my arms wrapped around him, and his around me. I could feel his heart beating against mine, and the warmth of being wrapped up in his arms. Here I was, in the arms of one of my best friends, whom I had feelings for since freshman year, yet reality had set in when I realized that he could never be mine. I liked him. I mean I really like liked him, but he just didn't feel the same way. Will Andy ever like Alyssa the way she likes him, or will Alyssa's feelings ruin their friendship? This is a very short story.
