At first glance these two boys look like enemies, right? Wrong. If you look closely, Keefe and Tam are much more similar. Keefe is bruiseed by the cracks in his family,and of course, his snobby father. Tam is broken by his ignorant family, and may never be able to trust again. Very alike, aren't they? One might even say they were made to be together. Follow the POV'S of both Keefe and Tam on their journey to discover happiness.

keefe might seem like a good guys at first but there more to it more to why he does what he does. tam still has hope for him but what happen when that hope dies out.

Just two days after Keefe wakes up from the coma, he runs away and moves in with Elwin. Tam is guilty and getting used to being back to normal. Both boys struggle with pasts littered with thorns and shadows. Will they help each other? Only time will tell. Keefe was slowly breaking inside. His family hated him. Fitz didn't like him anymore. Sophie had rejected him. Everyone else was cold to him, still not trusting him after the Neverseen fiasco. Tam was the only one who really cared. And some days, Keefe could tell even that care was forced. But he couldn't tell anyone. No one would really understand. They would all pity him. So he hid it all away. To the point where he could barely speak to somebody without sounding cold and withdrawn. Still, he kept pretending. Kept his head up. Kept on smiling, smiling, smiling. But he knew he was really dying, dying, dying. This Kam fanfic is a human AU. In this, Tam never joined the Neverseen. However, Keefe did, to try and get vital information. It didn't work, instead he gave up information. This was started at 3:30 A.M., so the concept is probably terrible, but I might as well write it. Warnings: Suicidal thoughts, self-harm, etc.
