Leaving home for the first time can be daunting to anyone. When Maria Stark left for Kings Landing she never expected to leave without her sisters. Being betrothed while finding her older brother and her mother just so she could leave a tavern alive seemed ridiculous to Maria, but falling for seemed to happen quicker than she thought.
