'"You know," He said, looking back at the stars above his head. "I'm a guy." He heard a chuckle coming from his right. He looked over at her. She was angelic "Really?" She asked sarcastically, a grin plastered across her face. And, Oh Lord. She was beautiful. "I had no idea." He rolled his eyes before looking back at the sky. It was a truly beautiful night. He was with Sophie. It couldn't have been more perfect. "I mean," he said, hiding the smile that had appeared on his lips. "I'm a guy and I don't think a lot." He expected her to say something, a sarcastic comment maybe, but she didn't, she was really listening this time. He cleared his throat, suddenly sore. "I must think 'bout, let's say a hundred things every day. Half of them are usually 'bout football." He chuckled and looked at her again. She was staring at the sky no longer smiling. He was getting nervous, which you could clearly see by the way his accent was even more pronounced. He was scared to say anything more, but he couldn't seem to be able to keep his eyes off her. "But lately," he paused again, thinking hard on his next words. With a deep breath, he continued. "99 of my thoughts have been 'bout you." **** Sophie Davis is a peculiar girl. This is the UNEDITED, ORIGINAL version of Silently Falling. If you wish to find the edited version, please go to my profile and you will find it there :) The original was edited starting August 2020. - - - "Sunshine, what guy do you know has a weird fetish with sign language?" She's the aftermath of a high school party nightmare. Tragedy robbed her of her innocence and stole her voice before she had the chance to speak out. The court called her a liar, and the guilty was set free. Now memories plague her mind and trap her in solitude. She was forced to learn sign language, struggling to find a way to voice her silence. He's the definition of the boy she tried to stay away from. The epitome of harsh rumors and hopeless fantasies. The source of lies and blame. He's analyzed, misunderstood, and utterly mysterious. And he may be the one to find her voice. When they meet, she gets accustomed to his arrogance and he gets accustomed to her silence. An essay is what brings them together, but what happens when he starts asking too many questions? Will her past continue to drag her down, or will he save her? Fate has a funny way of bringing people together, but it doesn't always work how it's supposed to. - - - *different summary inside* COVER: Ensurel
