[Part Two of Honey and Ink] It's been four months since Corypheus was sent headlong into the Fade by the hand of Inquisitor Lyric Lavellan, finally vanquished for good. The sky has healed, the remnants of the Breach that once threatened to swallow Thedas now naught but a small blue ribbon on the horizon. But the Inquisition has loose ends to wrap up, people still to assist, lingering Venatori and Fade rifts to banish- and an elven mage to locate. One night, upon her return to Skyhold, someone from Lyric's past appears, shocking and delighting her all at once, bringing her a renewed sense of purpose and another worn soul to heal. Join Lyric as she stumbles through her role between the events of Inquisition and Trespasser, held up by her Commander's service and dedication- and by the companions we all know and love. There's a little canon divergence, some original elements and characters, and minor plot rearrangement. Rated 18+ for sexual content. Be sure to read Part One: "Honey and Ink" before diving in!

"Humour me." "But what about you? Don't you need luck too?" Lyric asked, protest forming a small crack in her voice. "I don't know what you'll face before the end," Cullen insisted, his face drawing nearer hers until their foreheads were touching. Her hand was palm-up in his, then, the dark leather of his glove and the moonlight's ivory flush making her fingers look impossibly pale. He placed the lucky coin there, closing her fist around it. "Just humour me." ---- Slow burn romance between Cullen and my femme Lavellan, Lyric. The story is mostly made up of moments between characters, skipping some of the action we are familiar with. Spans the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition, base game only. - 18+ only - Disclaimers: - Content/trigger warnings for minor character injury, blood/gore, and sexual content. - This is a a slow burn, but it is a romance nonetheless. *Not* smut; there are also character pieces for my Inquisitor and some others that are not related to the romance, but it's all part of Lyric's story. - There are time jumps, and some slight canon divergence/original elements, but nothing that impacts the integrity of the story in a major way. - I have only played Inquisition and all associated expansions, but not the earlier games. - This is my interpretation of the story- I take some liberties with minor variations and some situations of my own. - My lore is not perfect, but I'm trying! Feel free to gently correct me if I get something wrong! - All art (including the cover) is my original art! - If you know me, no you don't.

In a village where women are used solely for the purpose of childbearing, a Daughter of the Night is born. Rhea trained her entire life for one purpose: to become a Warrior and prove a woman's worth. This disruption in tradition leads to her exile from everything she's ever known. But she's not alone. There are more Daughters, and they want blood. The Seven Princes and King of the magical kingdom Aegaeon watch in amusement as their mortal neighbors tear themselves apart. But the immortal King is watching Rhea even closer.
