A young mercenary, known as the "WildCard", is suspected to be the one behind the mysterious deaths of high-status individuals within major cities of Japan. Leaving no trail of evidence behind, the WildCard's unpredictability and unknown identity have drawn the attention of those both good and bad. But as word spread to The League of Villains, that the WildCard was rumored to be in town to 'hit' one of their members, Dabi was sent out to handle it. While still suspicious of Hawks after their staged Nomu attack with Endeavor, Dabi decides to give him the task of finding the WildCard. But while the Pro searches for the faceless mercenary, his persistence causes him to become a potential casualty in WildCard's plan. As their paths cross, Hawks and Dabi must find a way to convince WildCard to drop their hits and work alongside Hawks and The League. But as the mercenary displays their clear hatred for both pros and villains, the negotiation won't be without blackmail from the past.
