In the 60's young teenagers would go race their hot rods on open roads for bragging rights. One road on particular seemed to be a troublesome obstacle for these young racers, it's a long road off of Highway 860 and it claimed many lives. This road had been shutdown for over thirty years but with the increase of population the city did light repairs and reopened it.
