After sixteen years of living in New York and his decade long successful career as a comic book artist, FP Jones doesn't know how to finish the story he has been telling for over ten years. He realizes there is only one place he can go to that will spark some inspiration: Riverdale. His home town, where he left part of himself before moving to the city that never sleeps. When he arrives there, he finds his old girlfriend right where he left her, with a crown on her head at the Serpent bar that she now owns. However, their meeting goes differently than he expected and along the way he finds out that he isn't the only one who kept secrets.

Two scared seventeen year olds decide to be co-parents and put aside every kind of romantic feelings to one another, to make sure they will be the best parents for their son, Charles Smith. A day before their son's eighteenth birthday, Alice rejects her boyfriend Hal's proposal. She begins to wonder if maybe the one person she is meant to grow old with has always been by her side. Did they really make the right choice by not committing to one another? And is the reason none of their relationships worked out simply because they would always love each other more? After all, they would always be partners in crime. The Bonnie to his Clyde, and the Clyde to her Bonnie.

After his wife leaves him, leaving behind only divorce papers as she heads for Toledo, FP is left a single dad to their 4 year old daughter, Ellie. He focuses all of his time on being the best dad he can be for his little girl and that's when he meets the beautiful Alice Smith; a journalist with a hard past who his daughter just happens to adore.

Jughead's father is released from prison and suddenly becomes homeless. As the boy was already living with Alice and Betty, why couldn't his Dad live there too? FP offers Alice a solution. A favor for a favor. He takes care of their kids so she can run the town as the mayor and he'd get a roof above his head. He gets one week to prove himself. Will he live up to his promise and will Alice accept him into her home?

The Black Hood is terrorizing the town of Riverdale and Sheriff Jones has no clue who it is. One day, Alice Smith walks into his office, determined to get to the bottom of this case. Whether he likes it or not, she's going to help him. What is it about this woman with whom he unexpectedly starts an affair? Why is he so drawn to her? It was just physical, wasn't it? This had nothing to do with love. Or maybe, that is exactly what it is.

FP Jones is dragged to a stripclub by his coworkers who come there every Friday just to see that one girl peform. Everytime there's just one guy lucky enough to be picked out by her who she is giving her body to. On that one particular night she chooses the innocent brown eyes of the sexy laywer in front of her...

After her divorce, Alice moves to a small town called Riverdale. She meet her neighbors Fred Andrews and FP Jones and will come to learn that she would make friends for life. But the life of a divorcée with two teenage daughters who have moved from the city is everything but easy. How will they find their way in this small town and what will happen when the bond between them and the neighbors across the hall becomes serious? Will Betty push her crush for the redheaded boy aside? Will Polly learn to deal with her parents seperation? Will FP get back on his feet and learn how to deal with his depression? Will Fred ever get over the passing of his wife? Will Alice find her way into her new life?

When Alice 'Ice Queen' Smith moves to Riverdale to become the new Mayor, she unexpectedly meets someone at the sides of the woods when her tire flattens. The only thing is, he doesn't say a word. Later she comes to learn this man is 'the man who never speaks' going by the name of FP Jones. Who is this man? And does he have anything to do with the growing drug trade in Riverdale? Why doesn't he talk to anyone in town? Does Alice have to hide something about herself as well and is that the reason she finds herself being drawn to this mysterious man? Is it that they may have more in common than they would think at first sight? A story about grief, isolation, self destruction and hope.
