Stiles, Allison, Scott, and Lydia have been the four musketeers since the third grade. Though recently Scott confessed that he likes Allison, the couple are still waiting for Stiles to confess to a clueless Lydia. Allison keeps probing her adoptive brother (Stiles) saying that Lydia didn't know he's had a crush on her but Stiles can't make up his mind. "Why do you care?" "Because I can't lose you!" Sure he was sarcastic and a dick and she could live with that (having a few snarky comebacks herself). Until he has sex with his girlfriend. When she's literally a room away. Wait. Did I say girlfriend? "Sweetheart, I don't think you understand. I don't date. And you'll learn that in a couple minutes when the next girl shows up."

Après avoir passée l'année au Colorado, à Denver, Lydia décide de revenir à Beacon Hills, et se rappellera de plusieurs situation, de sa plus grande erreur : la raison qui la poussé à tromper Stiles. Elle croyait ne jamais le perdre en cachant ce secret et passant un accord avec Scott. Mais malheureusement, la curiosité de Stiles l'a pointée du doigt. En revenant dans sa ville natale, Lydia pensait que tout serait identique au passé, que son histoire serait oubliée, que personne ne se rappelle d'elle.. Mais qu'en serait-il si ce serait l'inverse ? Et si Scott n'avait pas tenue cette promesse, de ne jamais rien dire à propos de cet accident qui à causé le décès de la mère de Stiles?

Après tout ce qu'ils avaient vécu au lycée, Stiles et Lydia étaient plus proche que jamais. Mais ils furent une erreur. Juste un soir. Une erreur d'un soir. Lydia paniqua et s'éloigna de Stiles qui se rapprocha de Malia. Cinq ans plus tard, Stiles et Lydia se retrouve mais leurs vies ont bien changé...
