[ COMPLETED ] When war steals everything and truth arrives too late, can love still find a way? Or will it vanish like the sun at dusk and the moon at dawn? Urmila, an ordinary woman from the 21st century, never imagined her life would take a turn beyond time itself-until a near-death accident hurls her into the heart of the Mahabharata. Lost in an era of warriors, kings, and divine prophecies, she finds herself entangled in the fate of the Kuru dynasty. At first, her only desire is to return home. But that changes the moment she meets Angaraj Karna-the radiant, tragic son of the Sun God. A man scorned by society yet bound by unshakable honor. A warrior cursed by fate yet overflowing with kindness. And a heart so fierce and noble that it threatens to consume her own. As the great war of Kurukshetra looms, Urmila faces an impossible choice: should she defy fate itself to save the man she loves, or let history unfold as it was written? Her journey is one of love and loss, sacrifice and self-discovery, forcing her to question whether destiny can be rewritten-or if some souls are meant to burn together, only to fade apart. Can love truly transcend time, or will Urmila's arrival only deepen the tragedy that awaits Karna?

All rights reserved In the year 2025, young historian Vedika has dedicated her life to uncovering the lost stories of ancient India. Her latest expedition leads her deep into the Western Ghats, where legends whisper of a once-mighty empire- Mahishmati, now buried beneath time and silence. When Vedika and her team uncover the long-lost palace ruins, she feels drawn to one sealed chamber, untouched for centuries. Inside, she finds something.. A fragment of a broken mirror. The artifact calls to her in a way she cannot explain. Ignoring protocol, Vedika takes the mirror home. At first, it's just a piece of history to study. But soon, strange things begin to happen. The mirror hums faintly in her presence. Its surface seems to ripple like water. Then one night, as moonlight spills across her desk, she sees a reflection that is not her own. A pair of dark, watchful eyes stare back at her through the fractured glass. He speaks a language long dead, yet she understands every word. He calls her Devi. He tells her of a kingdom, of battles, of betrayal. Coming from a lonely home, Vedika begins to live for these midnight conversations. The voice in the mirror becomes her secret, her solace. The man within it feels impossibly real- commanding yet vulnerable, a ruler burdened by destiny. His name is Bhalladeva, Crown Prince of Mahishmati. The same Bhalladeva whom history remembers as a tyrant. As their connection deepens, Vedika sees the man behind the legend, the son striving for his father's pride. The prince overshadowed by his brother, the heart hidden beneath layers of ambition. She begins to wonder if history got him wrong. She faces a question that could change history: can love transform a man destined to be a villain, or is fate stronger than even the heart? A Rift in time for Bhalladeva is a sweeping tale of love, destiny, and redemption. A story where the past and future collide, and one woman's courage might rewrite the fate of an empire.

The love story of a British young soldier named Edwin Brown is recounted by himself in his diary-how and when he met her, how he fell in love with her, and how he fought for her. Immerse yourself in the realm of Indian history. Step into the vintage India and experience it through the eyes of this young British man. .................................................................... There was a time when Indians were fighting for their freedom, and they finally achieved independence after 200 years. India celebrated its freedom on August 15, 1947. In the year 1945, during the time when India was about to free itself from British rule after years of struggle and fight, there was a backdrop of cruelty, slavery, protests, and atrocities. Amidst this environment of hatred, an unexpected seed of love started to grow in my heart for someone I had never imagined. While I was occupied with my training in Britain, I never anticipated that a young Indian girl in Calcutta would become the focal point of my life someday. It was you! This isn't a story solely about India's independence; it's my story-a narrative of forbidden romance, the allure of opposite forces, and the liberty of love, our love. .................................................................... *Characters* Edwin Brown - Portrayed by Tom Cruise Avni Chandekar - Portrayed by Aishwariya Rai Bachchan Edward Brown (Edwin's Father) Delwyn Brown (Edwin's Mother) Bhavani Chandekar (Avni's Father) Devi Chandekar (Avni's Mother) ..................................................... NOTE: This story is a work of fiction. All the names, characters, events, and incidents are the product of the author's imagination. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is unintentional. The era mentioned in this book partly refers to the period when India was on the verge of gaining independence from British rule. The story is entirely a historical fiction. Thank you.
