Metamorphs: a species that share both a human form and an animal form, they speak and understand both English and Anamalis (animal language). Metamorphs were never really accepted by the human race. And if anyone is reported for being a Metamorph, they will be arrested...and burned... some considered them witches, some considered them Aliens, but most believed they don't deserved to live. Prince Roman of the Ironfelt Kingdom is well known for being a heroic, flirtatious man. Everyone respects him, and sees him as a mighty hero, however as much of a hero he is, he's lonely. His only real friend is his Royal Assistant Logan Crofters. Lord Virgil Anxiety of the Dark Forest is the ruler and protector of the dark forest. He's known more as a legend/myth to everyone outside the dark forest, or as a evil, vious ruler. But to the creatures in the forest, he's a kind, lonely protector that just needs a little love. His only friend is a village boy that visits him named Patton Morre. Shortly after World War II, something happened to the human race-something extraordinary. After so much death, humans grew to evolve. Some became stronger, others faster. However, many developed more dramatic abilities-superpowers, to put it simply. Some "Paragons," as they deemed themselves, could fly; others could read minds. And some of them got completely fucked in the power department. Not everyone evolved to possess these skills. These people-muggles, cripples, "Voids"-were viewed as lower; to Paragons, they were useless, worthless wastes of space. Anyone weak was like a bug to them; well, most of them. As anyone would expect, when a good portion of the world becomes powered, some of them are bound to have a superhero complex.

Four seemingly random strangers all answer an ad to move into an apartment in downtown. It didn't take more than a few months before they all realize they've been hiding a secret from one another... they each have a special ability.
