When Harper Davis begins to fall for Jack Pemberley, she must overcome her fear of kissing once and for all. --- Philemaphobia [fil-uh-muh-foh-bee-uh] is defined as an extreme fear of kissing, smooching, snogging - really anything to do with lip-touching. This fear is found most commonly in teenagers and most definitely in Harper Davis. Harper dreams of one day being in a relationship like the ones in all her favorite movies and books- if she can ever get over her fear of kissing. Ever since eighth grade and an embarrassing run in with a chocolate kiss, Harper has been paralyzed by even the idea of kissing someone. But when Jack Pemberley walks into her life, Harper decides it might be time to look her fear in the face. . . More specifically the lips. That is until her irrational phobia ruins a perfect opportunity for a kiss with Jack. When word gets around, Harper is thrust into a school-wide bet. Because if Jack, deemed the most eligible man of Franklin High, couldn't get Harper to kiss him, then who can? With more than a thousand dollars on the line, and the title of most eligible man, the men of Franklin High will stop at nothing to get Harper to kiss them and win the Kissing Game.

You're given 0.7 seconds to decide what to do when the most popular boy waltzes up to you and starts throwing pick up lines at you. What would you choose? a) Slap him b) Throw a sarcastic remark at him c) Walk away If you were like those daring sarcastic female leads in most novels then you'd likely choose either a) or b), but shy senior high schooler Iris Martin chose c) walk away. Then her life somewhat resembled baking a cake. Add in a pinch of arrogance from the bad boy, a teaspoon of cheer from his girlfriend and an overfilled cup of persistence from a new student who was her cousin's fiancé's brother's best friend and the cake will be ready to explode in the oven. ~~~ Cover by @-wanderes {edited} {completed}

Team Foster-Keefe for the win! Some romantic oneshots for your single souls. Edit: I made this story quite a while ago! I look back on it and don't like a lot of my writing-it literally makes me cringe-and the reason I keep this story up is because of the immense support I have received. (Plus, so many people seem to really like it.) I'm really just asking for you to not judge all of my writing ability based off of this story, I wrote it a long time ago, and I would say that my writing is much improved now. With that being said, I hope you enjoy anyway!! All characters and world building belongs to Shannon Messenger, the author of Keeper of the Lost Cities.
