I'd had my life laid out for me. I was going to go to college, get a job, have a family- I was going to live a normal life. No- a boring, predictable, stable life. But when an old man appears in my dreams and pushes me off of a boat, submerging me into reality, everything changes. I'm told that everything I know about my mother isn't true. That she had some hidden life. And although I didn't want to believe it, something inside me wants to uncover the truth, to know more.
