What if Clarke had made it in time? What if she set the tranciever and she made it back to Becca's lab in time before the death wave hit? What if she was able to go into space with Bellamy, Raven and the others?

Bellarke AU; Best Friends Clarke got married young. She had a child young. The abuse started. She never thought she'd find the strength to leave, but she did. She left behind the husband who caused her pain, taking her daughter to the home he forced her to stay away from. She goes home to her best friend, Bellamy Blake. He's there to help her pick up the pieces, and maybe finally confess the love he's always had for his best friend. She was, after all, the one that got away from him.

Clarke moves to the big city for her residency and rents a room from Octavia Blake. What was supposed to be a 3 month rental agreement turns into much more as she makes new friends, struggles to move away from her past, and meets one very grumpy soldier.

When an army of assassins and headhunters amass at the gates of Arcadia seeking Clarke, she must make a life changing decision. War resulting in hundreds of deaths, self sacrifice, which Bellamy would never allow, or... Marriage? Bellamy's always protected Clarke without a second thought, but suddenly he's not the only one looking out for her.
