after L's death, light has practically broke. he thought he would be happy but when his plan had actually worked, he didnt have time to save the person he loved. L died in lights arms, and after that day light had gone missing and kira had disappeared. what happens if 2 years later L walks into the police station, alive and well. what happens when he puts hus full focus on finding light?

If you had asked before that night, Light Yagami would have described L as his rival, his aquantence, his co worker, and maybe even his friend. But if you had asked after wards he would have told you the same thing. Except the thought of his smooth pale body against the sheets and the sound of his moans would have flashed through his mind. The taste of his soft lips against his own... But the thing is that they had to keep it a secret. The great detective didnt want to risk losing the police force from his side if they found that the cheif's precious son was in love with him. Catching Kira was much more important than taking their relationship out into the open. But Light was getting restless and tired of always sneaking around and making excuses for the marks on his neck from the previous night. Will they make it through without any collateral damage? Will Light give in and keep the secret, or will he tell and risk everything?

Light was seven when he ran away from home. He was seven when he found a panda looking child. Light was seven when he was finally accepted for who he was. L was nine when he became the world's greatest detective. L was ten when he found a brown-haired child covered in dirt. L was ten when he made his first friend. AU: Light runs away from home and is found by L. This follows Light and L growing up together and then the Merikh Case (which follows the timeline of the Kira Case just a different name). Light uses the name of Kira when he is at Wammy's House so hence the rename.
