After a while Kai just stopped going on missions and he sold his fireproof ninja suit to a random person who also needed fire-proof clothing and he left ninjago. After a while in Megapolis Kai starts to realize how he feels more at home there than at Ninjago and starts to live there. After three or four months Kai gets into a fight with Demon Bull clones and finds out he has the abilities of Shadows as he won the fight. Macaque saw the fight and offers to train Kai since he knew the clones and DBK would be back. Kai ended up agreeing and becomes Macaques apprentice. Kai and Macaque gets closer and Kai sees Macaque as a father and Macaque sees Kai as his son. Wukong also starts seeing Kai as a son as well. What will happen when the ninja find Megapolis and how will Kai react? Will unlikely friendships be made and will some fall? Will Kai get adopted into a new home? Will Kai control his new powers?
