Hatsugyo Kairi was a mermaid, one born with unique talents under the ocean. At such a young age, she had learned to fear the humans but it changed when she met Roronoa Zoro and Shimotsuki Kuina. They've become friends but when Kuina passed, Zoro got more strict in his training - since he had promised Kuina to be the world's greatest swordsman.
