His unimpressive doctor informs him that it was all a fabricated plan to test out some new technological devices, and that he and his fellow participants are still alive and about as well as they can be. Thrown into the deepend once more, Kokichi is forced to come to terms with the consequences of his decisions and navigate feelings, friends, and relationships he's never known before.
