Margo Anne Hall is an 18-year-old American teenager growing up in a working-class neighborhood. Margo is not much of the religious type despite growing up Christian mainly because life has not been particularly kind to her. Her father, who made his own luck, was imprisoned when she was very young, leaving her with her mother, who was an addict. Eventually, Margo had to drop out of school to get a job to support herself leaving her to scrape for crumbs to support her and her mother. She wants a better life but has come to terms that it is just not in the cards for her, not this lifetime anyway.

The dust has settled after the explosive battle at the Vatican but the war isn't over yet. Father Vincent is still out there causing havoc. Meanwhile inside the Cradle, the new Halo Bearer is causing another sorts of havoc to a certain Warrior Sister's heart.

despite being outnumbered the warrior nuns go in gun blazing and fight Adriel with his summoned Wraith demons. the combat fight between Ava and Adriel created another portal same as what Jillian Salvius created in her lab, but the energy isn't stabilized and sucked everyone in the area. Ava woke up alone and her first instinct is to find the other girls especially Beatrice.
