Bruce wants a successor not a son. this story is an alt universe that strays from the main canon in several areas including some of the characterizations - basically this is what the bat family/ batman comics would look like if i had written them featuring some familiar story lines and some brand new ones. :) these fics will include plots relating to Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, Barbra Gordon the titans, the justice league and several other characters from the bat fam and the dc universe.

Mateo and Rufus are gone but for their friends, the story is just beginning... A new last day begins, one not full of romantic possibilities but friendships old and new.
