"Between you and me, I specifically requested to be in Mrs. Woods' class," Zac said, slightly louder so Dream could hear him. "What?! Why would you do that?" "To investigate," Zac admitted. "Investigate what?" "It's a horrible thing," Zac said, beginning to speak in a softer voice again. "But I have a hunch that Mrs. Woods..." "What?" Dream said. "...Is a kidnapper..." --- Fifteen year old Dream Cadison has never lived in one place for long. So, when she moved to Brooklyn, New York with her dad for her sophomore year of high school, there was no reason for her to think things would be any different. But, against her will, she is almost immediately sucked into a complex mystery involving a psychopathic teacher who has committed unspeakable crimes. Although Dream initially wanted nothing to do with the whole thing, and tried to get through the school year as normally as she could, her participation in the mystery quickly became inevitable as she was thrown into a whirlwind of discovery after discovery, prompting her to join in on the investigation. A few months and a group of new friends as well as new enemies later, the clock is ticking, and Dream realizes that not everyone is as they seem. Will she be able to find out what is truly going on with Mrs. Woods? And will she be able to stop her teacher from doing more harm before it's too late? From kidnappings and lawsuits, to injuries and near-death experiences, there is only one thing everyone knows for certain: Dream and her friends will either succeed, or die trying. --- Cover made by @IceBlueShadows

❝ If love is blind then he won't mind if you feel the writing of braille on my heart, for what you feel is far more important than what is visible to the eye. ❞ *** Claret does not know what love is. Her parents are only names, family is just a concept, as is the word love. She understood prejudice, because she had never been eye-captivating and people did not want to love a girl without a future. One day she gets hired -out of pity- to take care of an ill boy coming from the Khan household, a well-known and wealthy family of three; Kaden Khan, an only child. Kaden became blind at the short age of twelve and has since been through multiple operations to get back his eyesight, none of which succeeded. Now, faced with a person without sight, she can finally be heard by someone who will see her true self inside; the eyes of vanity and prejudice will finally be locked up. Perhaps a future isn't something so far fetched, now. ------ tinyelephantsteps © || all rights reserved
