He is fascinated by a very cute, very outgoing redhead in one of his classes and wonders obsessively about how someone seems so at ease around people. He develops a tiny crush, but never speaks to the redhead -- doesn't even know his name -- until one night at a crowded movie premier. Then it seems he runs into Hinata all the time. Is the universe trying to tell him something? Can the energetic boy with the megawatt smile find a way to connect with the painfully shy, socially awkward, anxious classmate? It's been 7 years since Hinata graduated high school, and 3 since he last saw his teammates. For the last 5 years Hinata has been in a lovely relationship with his boyfriend Kuso Kutabare, or at least that's what the team thinks. In all actually Hinata has been going through hell. He wants to get away from him but everytime he does, he can't. That is... until his teammates step in to help. Can Hinata really get out of the hell he has been forced to endure all this time?... Go watch Haikyu, it's really nice. Anyway, this is not connected to the original Haikyu, although the junior high part is. Anything that happens in this book is in their first year, and it will not necessarily be the same as what happened in the anime and manga. So, it's about how the relationship between Hinata and Kageyama slowly built and how they got passed their obstacles as they went for competition and tournaments. The most annoying thing about Hinata is the fact he never shuts up. Most of the time, Kageyama can tune the other out but every now and then a certain phrase or conversation that loudmouth has come out with will just stick with Kageyama like glue. It's the dumb things Hinata blurts out that leads to Kageyama questioning his sexuality. Then on top of that, Kageyama needs to deal with the stampede of females that seem to be invading the gym because of one stupid photograph.
