"I'm sorry Abby..." Though those 3 words may be said differently, they share the same meaning when two kids basically strangers speak them. Lodi Saddle and Abby Evens promised on the planet Venus to be BFFs. However, Lodi now has to learn to cope after the loss of her best friend. Meanwhile, Shaun-Calvin Evans is trying to escape the pain and guilt of his reality, running away from the consequences of his parent's addiction. Learning to cope has never been easy. But can two separate pasts and present realities connected by one person make it possible? (!) Warning: this story contains mentions of alcohol and abuse which may be sensitive to certain readers(!) Note: I wrote this story for NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program- this story will continue to be edited and yeah CRINGE WARNING

"It was a pleasure to burn" Many years after Guy Montag's disappearance, reporter for Channel 541, Amalie Montag, finds herself questioning the world that has gone from burning books to the simple filtration of terms. Like her great uncle, Guy, whom she never met, Amalie decides to push the limits of what she knows and find out more. But, is it worth it when finding out 'more' could cost her her job, or worse, her life? Based heavily on Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury Characters such as Guy Montag, Mildred Montag, and Beatty are all by Ray Bradbury. Bilbo, Gandalf, and any others are by JRR Tolkien. I do not claim ownership of any of the above characters. (!) Warning- this book contains mentions of things that could be true or false. You may be offended. Read at your own risk. (!) (btw this is still a first draft)
