One day, he found a pony who needed help in the middle of the streets. He helped and twilight offered to be friends. He accepted her friend request and later in the story, he falls in love with her. They both get each other's phone numbers. Twilight really wanted Mordecai to come over for three days, so he did. During this hangout, Twilight discovers she might be in love with Mordecai. The beer got to her and that's how she might've noticed, she denies it, though. Things get awkward, with all the friend-zoning. Everyone thinks they're a couple. Mordecai just out of a relationship.
