when an obscure summer camp draws two unlikely friend groups together, things begin to jumble and ties are broken or bonded. a falsettos fanfic started: 07.09.20 ended:

Marvin is struggling to be happy in his marriage to his wife, Trina, who he married because he had to. His son, Jason, is 9 years old and barely talks to anyone who isn't his parents. Marvin has a bank job which pays the bills well, but he gets bored very easily. He just wants something in his life that will make him happy. Whizzer just graduated college and hopes to become a fashion designer. He has many ideas, but is struggling on the inside. He is quite distant from his mother and father and he hooks up with 5 different men every week but never actually starts a relationship with any of them. All he wants is some stability in his life, whether that be a job as a designer or a person to share his life with. Pretty soon these two men will run into each other, and an incident involving a blue blazer and coffee will set off a chain of events that will end with Whizzer and Marvin both getting what they truly want. What will make them happy. Will they find their happy endings in each other? *No one dies in this story. I do not own these characters in any way. All the credit goes to the fantastic William Finn and James Lapine. I am simply a huge fan of Falsettos and of Marvin and Whizzer's relationship. There will be some language and a $3X scene or two, so if you aren't comfortable with either of those, feel free to skip my story. But if that's okay, then I hope you enjoy it!

Marvin x Whizzer fanfic. Almost every morning since he was 16, 19 year old Whizzer brown would end up waking up at 5 am in a strangers bed, trying to rush home before his workaholic mom would get up for work, notice he was gone, and give him a ride to school. What seemed like worlds away, a spoilt, bratty Marvin, would find his way sleeping through the entire cheerleading squad, seemingly suppressing his constant need for attention, given to him by his also workaholic parents. But what will happen when these two would meet, both of them trying to satisfy and suppress their urges and needs? Surely this could never end well... After Marvin kicked the young Whizzer Brown out of his house, he only knew one thing for certain: He was back to square one. He didnt have a stable home anymore, that was Marvin's. He wasnt in a relationship anymore. He didnt have money. Then again, why did Whizzer feel like he was unstoppable?

Marvin thought that he would spend the rest of his life unsatisfied. He could pretend he loved someone, though. But he was lying, and he certainly wasn't living.

He hadn't expected to see someone that pretty make his way next to him at this broken down gay bar. The moment he sits down, his stomach drops. They talk; about life, their jobs, their friends, until the tall brunette asks, "Wanna come to my apartment? It's shitty, but just for one night?" And Marvin can't resist saying yes.

A story about Marvin and Whizzer, set about 2 years after the chess game. Updates are slow but ARE in the works. It's very gay.
