Abbey is in love with Michael. Michael has no idea she exists. To show that Abbey doesn't just love the idea of the "famous guitar player" but actually who he truly is, she turns to writing to help express herself. With her best friend Stevie, Abbey writes what she believes is the perfect letter and sends it, not really expecting a reply.
