Kitty is a Poke-Shifter. Poke-Shifters have the ability to change into any Pokemon (except legendaries) at will. Kitty is antisocial, as well as hating humans in general. She's also not very fond of her name, but she refuses to change it. Kitty is content on living in the wild, as a Pokemon, though she has to turn into a human for various purposes. But, her regular everyday routine goes down the drain, when a life changing encounter with a human, well, changes her life forever. Paul, now 17, decides to return to the Hoenn region to capture a Bagon and raise it to be a mighty Salamence. However, he doesn't realize that right after arriving an annoying cretin Coordinator would bump into him right when he's setting off on his new goal. Dawn forcefully worms her way in Paul's plans in her quest to become a better Coordinator and the two struggle to get along.
