He gently removed his hands, placed a light kiss on her cheek, and left with a last glance at Hope's gorgeous complexion. Hope was disoriented as she found herself in her room, trying to grasp an idea of what she was previously doing. She suddenly felt mentally exhausted and so tired. She got into bed and rested her head on her pillow. She closed her eyes with her best friend's name on the tip of her tongue, mumbling just as sleep overcame her.
