To Amias Vespera, magic is everything. It's in the Vespera bloodline, it's in the very heart of their quaint curiosity shop. But despite hoping for as long as he could remember, Amias holds not a drop of magic in his blood. Unable to run the shop like he dreamed to, Amias was chosen as a guardian for his little sister-Verity-whose magic had flared and burned across the world the day of her birth. His job is simple: protect her, keep her hidden, and under no circumstances, allow her to exit the shop. Though he's kept his promise for most of his life, Verity begs to be out. To be free for just a day. Amias, against his better judgement, allows her to step outside the shop for the first time since her birth, and only then does he realize why she was never allowed to be seen. The Vespera Legacy is moderately violent, with the mention of blood, burning at the stake, occasional use of blades and similar threats. (Descriptions however are not immense.)

As glitches tear through the DreamSMP, the members find themselves in Hermitcraft. The admins (Dream, Techno and Xisuma) are captured in attempts to steal their power, each one carrying the burden of a ghost of their past, where they only way out is to face their deepest fears, and greatest regrets. ~~~ Note that this was written (and completed) in late 2020 and that it was my first fic ever. When he joined Hermitcraft after running away from the Watchers, it was starting to come together, until season eight began and his life was thrown into chaos. The Watchers were there, and he didn't even know if they were good or bad anymore. He didn't know who to be scared of. And he was forced to question everything in silence, finding refuge only in his magic. And unfortunately for him, things don't always go the way he might have expected - not that he really had any expectations, anyway. There is some mild swearing.
