"I'm not a soldier," Caspian said with slanted eyes as he stared at the dwarf and stood up tall and regally. "I am Prince Caspian. The tenth." "So it looks like the line continued then," the dwarf said at a slight whisper but loud enough that Caspian was able to hear it. The badger waved the dwarfs comment away though as he looked to Caspian with wide eyes. "By Queen Lucy's grace, what are you doing here?" He asked surprised and confused. "Running away," the prince muttered. ∞ ♕ ∞ One year for them, 1300 years for Narnia. A new age has begun. Since their previous adventure, the Pevensie children, plus Elizabeth, have moved on from their former regal life as Kings and Queens, finally starting to adjust to their new lives back in England after understanding the fact that they would not be returning to the magical world soon. Since their return, Elizabeth would have anxiety attacks due to the new world she was now immersed in, Peter was tending to get into several fights, Susan truly believed that they would never return to Narnia, Edmund often found himself being the one having to break up Peter's fights, while Lucy clung to the hope of returning to their past life. Not to mention Elizabeth and Edmund were no longer even on speaking terms. The five remained in Digory Kirke II's house for a few more months before leaving to start boarding school. Just when they think life is finally returning to normal, they suddenly end back up in Narnia. A more savage place than they remember, war with the Telmarines is inevitable and the siblings must join forces with Prince Caspian to stop the evil King Miraz and restore peace to Narnia. Can Narnia and the love between Elizabeth and Edmund be salvaged, or will the two fall apart only to be lost forever? The fate of all lies in the destiny of one. Part I: Derya is to the naked eye like any other girl living in the Telmarine castle under Miraz rule. Though what no one knows is that this girl is, in fact, a Queen in disguise, the Queen of Narnia's sea who has been in hiding for most of her life as the Narnians have descended. By befriending Prince Caspian, the future King of Narnia, and keeping her identity hidden, Derya has managed to escape the same fate as many other Narnians have. But as her friend faces threats from his own people, Derya and Caspian will together have to fight in the Rebellion of the Narnians alongside the Kings and Queens of old who centuries earlier, abandoned Narnia to this fate. Part II: Once again, Caspian and Derya must face threats against Narnia's peaceful years since the end of the Rebellion. Now, King, Caspian must try to adapt and become the ruler he knew his father would have wanted him to be while living up to the expectations of the likes of King Peter. All this whilst the growing love between him and Derya hints that a new Queen of Narnia will soon be crowned. Part III (COMING SOON): Fifteen years since the voyage of the Dawn Treader, Caspian and Derya have raised a son and a daughter peacefully in Narnia. Their son, Rilian, mysteriously disappears one day, taken by an evil witch who will threaten Narnia once more. "Oh. Milady Ashton, are you going to the ball for King Peter." The young centaur shyly asked Ashton. Ashton crouched down next to her, meeting her eye level with a friendly smile, "I'm afraid I don't know what you mean, little one." "You know... The ball thing... Mommy told me it was the King's opportunity to woo a lady of Narnia." She explains with her limited vocabulary and a small lisp. "A courting ball?" Ben asks the little one. "That's it!" She exclaims, "Are you going?" "I guess we will see, we haven't been back to the castle since the war," Ashton tells the five-year-old, sugarcoating her response to avoid disappointing the child. "Ohh." She nodded before leaning down to Ash to whisper in her ear, "My father told me stories from the war, of course not the stories with too much fighting, but he mentioned the greatness of the prophesied. You were always my favorite." She giggles. Ash didn't know what to say as the little centaur bounced away. She stood from the party, needing a minute outside. Edmund followed her after her, wanting to help his dear friend with the news. "Ash, I'm sure there's an explanation." "Yes, a simple one Ed. I left. Your brother owes me nothing. It is his choice. If he wants every spoiled, perfect, primitive, self-centered princess within a hundred miles lining up at his feet. That is his choice and does not concern me." Ashton admits, more negatively than she intended. "This is not going to end well." There once was an old prophecy, one that said that a warrior with the powers of a Phoenix was meant to protect Narnia from any harm that may come its way. Most have given up on this prophecy and the few who still believed were starting to lose hope in this raging winter. Now, there's a new prophecy; the prophecy of the two sons of Adam and two daughters of Eve. It seems it's finally time for both these prophecies to be fulfilled.
